The Kennel
Bandera Kennels is a state of the art kennel offering heated floors, spacious indoor/outdoor runs, auto waterers and heated 22' X 22' building. The kennels are surrounded by a fully fenced one acre of forest and lawn. Our puppies are transitioned from the home into our kennels at five weeks. Our puppies enjoy the ability to play and explore in our natural enviornment. Jumping over logs, finding bugs, digging in the dirt and taking a nap in the sun dappled lawn are all a part of their daily life here at MisFit Farm. On the farm we also have chickens and horses, so our puppies are accustomed to being around other animals on the property.
Our Puppies
We feel priviledged to represent this wonderful breed and we strive to produce high quality, balanced puppies. All of our puppies begin their first month in our home and from the moment they are born we begin our imprint work with them. They are exposed to crates, bags, loud noises, livestock, gates, water, nail trims and anything else we come across that we feel is beneficial to their imprint work. We begin basic obedience work with them at 5 weeks of age. They will come to you understanding the no bite, off, wait and sit commands. Basic potty training will start at 6 weeks of age and in most cases their potty training should take no more than one week to complete upon arrival at their new homes.
All puppies are professionally temperament tested at 6 weeks. Bandera puppies are registered through the American Kennel Club. They will have first vaccinations, three courses of worming and will be Microchipped with lifetime enrollment into the AKC CAR program. Puppy packs are included.
Puppies are sold with limited registration for $2500. A deposit of $1250 is required upon approved puppy application. Full payment is due at time puppies are 6 weeks old. Deposits and payments are non-refundable but are transferable to another litter. Shipping/crating is available for an additional charge and will be quoted upon request.
